Kia ora, Mālō e lelei, Talofa lava, Kia orana, Bula and greetings to all those in the Kidney Society extended family.

After three years at the helm of the Kidney Society, it is time for me to move on and say goodbye. I can honestly say that it’s been a privilege and an honour to serve this wonderful organisation. The best part has been meeting clients and supporters and hearing their authentic stories. Having kidney disease is a difficult journey and I really admire the resilience and courage that I have so often seen. I’m also impressed by the longevity of the hospital staff who, in some cases, have dedicated their entire working lives to renal medicine.

Finally, I want to acknowledge and thank the Kidney Society team. They are an amazing group and they put everything they have into their work – I’ll miss them!
